Author Bio
I’m a Korean American transracial adoptee writing children’s literature, ranging from picture books to middle grade. My work centers on themes of family, adoption, and belonging.
In children’s literature, I’m honored to be a 12x12 and WRITE KIDLIT NOW! scholarship recipient. In 2024 I was a PB Rising Stars Runner-Up and received Honorable Mentions in kid lit contests. I’m a current member of SCBWI and a student of Renee LaTulippe’s Lyrical Language Lab.
Currently a career coach by day, I help professionals discover what makes their hearts sing—much like I have in writing for children. By night you’ll find me cooking, bingeing K-dramas and poetry critique podcasts, and making up excuses to use a spreadsheet. I pride myself in my community leadership, dedication to service, EQ, and Midwest work ethic.
